Ainevoltas 2 is a quirky little platformer with RPG elements by Silvernova. The ‘2′ makes me think it’s a sequel (I’m a freakin’ genius!), but I’ve never played the previous one. Anyway, you are Justin, and monsters have invaded a castle. You must find out why, and who is behind it.
Its pixel graphics are great, as is the music. The NPC’s have excellent dry dialogue, it seems like they’re all on valium or something. But that’s a Good Thing.

Being a simple game (but excellent in its simplicity), you can jump, duck and strike your sword.
The RPG elements consist of being able to gather experience by killing monsters and having four skills to be able to upgrade along the way. These skills are Health, Strength, Recover and Jump. Jump is useful to be able to reach places you can’t otherwise.
Later in the game you can join a guild for sidequests to complete and even marry and have a child for some reason. If you finish it, which shouldn’t be too hard since it’s a short game, you can play again with a few differences. Quite fun to play for a while, so download it already.
